Phylogenomics

Phylogenomics is a branch of science that studies the evolutionary relationships among species using the genetic information found in their DNA. It looks at the genes that are shared between species, in order to understand how they are related to each other and how they have changed over time. By looking at the shared genes, scientists can see how different species have evolved from a common ancestor and how they are related to each other. This information helps us to better understand the history of life on earth.
