Plato's Cave

Plato's cave is an idea from the ancient Greek philosopher Plato. He said that if people are like people inside a cave, they only have a limited view of the world - they can only see shadows on the wall that are made by something else outside the cave. This means that their understanding is limited and they don't really understand the real truth of the world.
