ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Plural

Plural means there are a lot of things, not just one thing. For example, if you have one toy car, that's singular. But if you have a lot of toy cars, that's plural. To make a word plural, sometimes you add "-s" to the end, like "car" becomes "cars." But sometimes you have to change the word a little bit, like "cat" becomes "cats." When you talk about more than one thing, you use plural words. So instead of saying "I have a toy car," you would say "I have toy cars."
