ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Point and click

Point and click is a way for you to play games or use your computer by moving a little arrow around the screen and then clicking (pressing a button on your mouse or trackpad) on things you want to do stuff with.

Imagine you have a magic wand that can do things on the computer screen, but to use it you need to move the wand to the right spot and then say "Abracadabra!" by clicking a button. For example, if you want to open a folder, you move the wand (the little arrow) onto the folder and then say "Abracadabra!" (click) on it. The folder then opens up and you can see what's inside.

You can use point and click to do lots of cool things, like play games where you need to find hidden pictures or solve puzzles by clicking on the right buttons in the right order.

So, in short, point and click is a way to tell your computer what to do by moving a little arrow around the screen and then clicking on things you want to interact with.
