Policies promoting wireless broadband

Okay, kiddo! So, you know how the internet kind of connects everyone in the world? Well, the things we use to access the internet - like phones, tablets, and computers - need to have a special connection to be able to get online. This connection is what we call "broadband."

Now, some places have really great broadband connections and some places don't. And some people just can't afford to pay for a good connection. This means they might not be able to do things like watch videos, play games, or talk to their friends and family online.

So, some grown-up people who make rules (called "policies") want to make sure everyone has access to the internet. They want to encourage companies to make sure that the wireless signals, which are the ones that let us use the internet on our phones without having to plug them in, are strong and fast enough for everyone to use.

These grown-up people might also make rules that say that companies need to offer their broadband services to everyone, not just certain people who can afford to pay more. This means that even if you live in a place that might be really far away or hard to get to, you can still get online and do all the things other people do on the internet.

So, policies promoting wireless broadband are really just grown-up rules that try to make sure everyone has access to the internet and that the connection we use to get online is strong and fast enough for everyone to use.
