ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Political demography

Political demography is the study of how population shifts and changes affect politics. It looks at things like birth rates, death rates, migration, and other population factors, and how they might change the balance of power in government. For example, if a lot of people move to one part of a country, the political makeup of that area might be very different than it would have been before the people moved there. Political demography helps us understand how population changes can shape politics.
