Politics of outer space

Politics of outer space means rules about what people can and can't do in outer space. Countries have made rules that all countries have to follow when going into outer space. For example, everyone agrees that outer space should be used for peaceful purposes such as exploring the universe and studying science. Countries also agree that no one can put weapons or weapons of mass destruction in outer space or use them against other countries. Countries also talk about how to share space resources and make sure countries can use them in a fair way. It's also important to make sure everyone plays by the same rules when travelling in outer space and exploring different parts of the universe.
