ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Premium (marketing)

Hi there! So, have you ever gone shopping with your parents and seen two things that look almost the same but one costs a lot more than the other? Well, that more expensive thing is called the premium version.

Now, companies also use premiums to sell their products. Premiums are special or extra things that come with a product, and they try to make the product seem more valuable and worth buying.

For example, let's say you want to buy a toy car. The regular one might just be a plain old car, but the premium version might come with cool stickers, lights, and sound effects. These things make the car seem more special and fun to play with, which makes people want to buy it.

Marketing companies use premiums to make customers feel like they are getting something extra, and it makes them more willing to spend their money. So, premiums can be a good way for businesses to sell their products, and also for customers to get some extra goodies!
