Pressure-sensitive tape

Pressure-sensitive tape is like a super sticky tape that sticks to almost anything. It's called "pressure-sensitive" because you don't need to use water or glue to make it stick - you only need to press it down firmly.

Do you remember playing with stickers? Pressure-sensitive tape works just like that, but it's in the form of a long strip with a sticky backing. When you want to use it, you peel off the protective layer on one side, stick the tape to the thing you want to attach it to, and then press down firmly to make it stick.

Pressure-sensitive tape comes in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colors, just like your sticker collection. Some types of pressure-sensitive tape are designed to be particularly super-sticky, while others are more gentle and easy to remove without leaving a residue.

People use pressure-sensitive tape for all kinds of things. You can use it to wrap presents, seal envelopes, hold things together, or even to create art. Some people even use it to label things, like jars in the pantry or boxes in the garage.

So in short, pressure-sensitive tape is a versatile and handy way to stick things together without using water or glue. And just like your sticker collection, pressure-sensitive tape comes in all kinds of shapes and colors to suit your needs.
