ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Private army

A private army is a group of people who work for an individual or organization to protect them. They can also be used to provide security services to businesses and other organizations. Private armies are not part of the regular military, so they are not paid by the government and are usually hired by someone who can afford to pay for their services. Private armies often have their own weapons and equipment, which they use to protect their client. Private armies typically provide armed protection, but can also do other things like patrol areas or provide intelligence on security threats.
