Profanity in science fiction

Science fiction is a kind of story or movie that usually takes place in a made-up world and often features people with special powers or futuristic technology. Sometimes, in these stories, some of the characters will use a kind of language that is called profanity. Profanity is when people say words that are rude or offensive. It makes some people uncomfortable or upset. Even though it is not nice to say words like this, some writers choose to include them in their stories to make them seem gritty and realistic. Some science fiction stories are even centered around profanity and the characters who use it.
