Prometheus

Prometheus is a story from Greek mythology about a character who helped mankind by stealing fire from the gods and giving it to humans. Fire was very important in ancient Greece because it allowed humans to cook food, stay warm, and make tools. Prometheus was punished by the gods for this crime and was forced to carry a big rock around on his back forever. However, the gods eventually forgave Prometheus and he became a symbol of hope and courage.
