Hello little one! Today we are going to talk about a big word called "Pseudo Secularism".
When people talk about secularism they mean that all religions and beliefs should have equal respect and importance in a society, and no single religion should be given special treatment. This means everyone is free to follow their own beliefs and traditions without any discrimination.
However, sometimes people pretend to be secular but they actually favor one religion over the other. For example, they might give more importance to a particular religion or community and treat others unfairly. This is called "Pseudo Secularism".
It's like if you have two friends and you invite only one of them to your birthday party and give them extra cake, gifts and attention, then that's not fair, right? Similarly, if the government or society only favors one religion or community and doesn't treat everyone equally, it's not true secularism.
So, it's important to understand that true secularism means treating everyone equally and with respect, no matter what their religion or beliefs are.
