Secular state

A secular state is a country or government that isn't based on one particular religion and instead provides freedom to people of all religious beliefs. In this type of state, no one religion has more power than any other and no laws are made based on any single religion. Instead, laws are made to fairly and equally treat all people, no matter what their religion is.
