ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Psychogeography

Psychogeography is a way of exploring an area in a new way. It pays attention to the feelings that a place gives you and the different ways of connecting with the environment. To do so, you might take long walks in places that you haven't explored before and take note of the sights, smells, and feelings you get while you're there. You can then use this information to make connections between places, people and ideas. You can also use it to observe how cities are changing and how people experience them. Psychogeography also encourages you to think about the deeper meanings of places and how they have evolved over time.
