Puff pastry

Puff pastry is a type of pastry that is made up of layers upon layers of thin dough with butter in between each layer. Think of it like a big stack of paper, but instead of paper, we use dough and instead of glue, we use butter!

When it's baked in the oven, the butter melts and the layers of dough puff up, creating a flaky, buttery crust that's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Sometimes, people use puff pastry as a type of bread to wrap or enclose meat, vegetables, or fruit.

Puff pastry takes a lot of time and skill to make, but it's worth it! When you eat puff pastry, it feels like a party in your mouth!
