Pure qubit state

Okay, so imagine you have a toy called a qubit. It's a very special toy because it can do something called quantum computing, which means it can solve really hard problems really fast.

Now, when you look at your qubit toy, it can look different ways. It can be one of two possible states: a 0 or a 1. But, sometimes it can also be in a special state called a pure state.

A pure state means that your qubit toy is doing something really weird and cool. Instead of being just a 0 or 1, it's in a combination of both at the same time! So, it can be a little bit of a 0 and a little bit of a 1 all at once.

Think of it like mixing two colors of paint. If you mix blue and yellow, you get green, right? A pure qubit state is like mixing the colors so well that you can't even see the blue or yellow anymore, it's just green.

And, because the qubit can be in this pure state, it means it can do a lot more things than just a normal computer! It can solve problems faster and do things that are impossible for a regular computer.
