ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

QEMU

QEMU is a software that allows you to run programs designed for one type of computer on a different type of computer. It works like a pretend computer inside your computer so that you can pretend to be using a different type of computer. The pretend computer that QEMU creates is called a "virtual machine". To use QEMU, you need to set up a virtual machine and then install the programs you need into it.
