Quantile

Quantiles are like pieces of a puzzle. Think about a big jigsaw puzzle. A quantile is one piece of that puzzle. Quantiles are used to divide a set of numbers into parts of the same size. For example, if you had 10 numbers in a set and you wanted to divide them into 4 parts, each part would have 3 numbers and these 3 numbers would each be a quantile. Quantiles help divide the numbers into equal sized parts so that you can learn more about a set of numbers.
