ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Queer ecology

Queer ecology is the idea that all living things in nature, like animals and plants, can have different ways of living that are not stereotypical. It means respecting the different ways of life that different species have and not trying to judge them. For example, a certain kind of bird might take care of its young differently than another bird, but that doesn't make it wrong. We can still appreciate and value both ways.
