RFID

Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is a technology that uses tags with tiny radio transmitters to communicate with computers. RFID tags are attached to things like clothing and other objects, and they are tracked by a reader to help identify, locate, and track items. The reader can send the information from the tag to a computer which can then be used to make sure you have the right item, or to keep track of what items people have.
