ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Random graph

A random graph is like a picture made of dots and lines. Each of the dots represents something called a "node", and each of the lines connecting them are called "edges". This type of graph is called a "random" graph because it's hard to tell what the dots and lines mean. The dots and lines could represent anything, like people and how they are related to each other, or they could represent how cities are connected by roads. It's random because there's no way to know what it means just by looking at it.
