Rationalisation (sociology)

Rationalisation is a process that happens when people think about things in a more logical or sensible way. In sociology, rationalisation refers to the way people use logic or reason to make sense of the world around them. This could be done by looking at a situation or problem and breaking it down into pieces to better understand it, making decisions based on facts and evidence, or by seeing a situation from different points of view. Rationalisation helps us make sense of the world and it can help us make better decisions.
