Reign

Reign is when someone or something is in charge or has power over others. It's like when you play make-believe with your friends and one of you gets to be the queen or king and everyone else has to listen to them. When a king or queen is in reign, they get to make decisions for their kingdom and everyone has to follow their rules. It's like when your teacher is in charge in the classroom, they are in reign and you have to do what they say. Reign can also refer to a period of time when someone is in power, like the reign of a certain king or queen.
