Reintroduction

Reintroduction is when an animal is put back into the wild after they have been kept by humans. Sometimes it is because the animal has been taken out of the wild, like a pet, or an animal rescued from a difficult situation. Other times it is because the animal used to live in the wild, but has lost its home or way of staying safe. In either case, it is important to put animals back into their natural environment so they can thrive and be healthy. With reintroduction, animals like wolves, fish, birds, and turtles can start living in their natural homes and start raising families. It is a way to help protect and restore the balance of nature.
