ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Renewable electricity

Renewable electricity is electricity generated from sources of energy that are renewable, meaning that they can be used again and again. This can be things like the sun, the wind, water (hydroelectric power) or even something like geothermal energy (energy from inside the Earth). Renewable energy is better for the environment than electricity generated from non-renewable sources, like burning fossil fuels, because it doesn't produce harmful pollutants when it's used. Renewable energy can help us create a cleaner and healthier world by reducing pollution.
