Repeating decimal

A repeating decimal is a number that has some part of it that repeats over and over again. To show this, we use a little dot above the repeating part. For example, 0.1212121212 would be written as 0.1212... with the dot above the 12 to show that it repeats. This type of decimal typically never ends because the repeating part just continues forever.
