ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Research assistant

Okay kiddo! Have you ever had to do research for a school project? Well, there are some grown-ups who help other grown-ups do research, and they're called research assistants!

Research assistants help people, usually smart and important people like professors or scientists, find information and data to help them with their work. It's like being a detective, trying to find clues and evidence to answer questions.

They also help organize this information and sometimes even help with experiments. Imagine you're helping your mom clean up the toys in your room, only instead of toys, it's data and information.

So, a research assistant is someone who helps other people find and organize information to help them do their important work. They're like helpers or problem solvers who love to learn new things and figure out tricky problems!
