ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Research fellow

Okay kiddo, so there are people called research fellows who work in universities or other organizations to do research on different things. They are like detectives who gather information and try to understand things better.

Now, let's say that you really like dinosaurs and want to learn more about them. A research fellow who works on dinosaurs might study bones, fossils, and other evidence to figure out how dinosaurs lived, what they ate, and how they died. They might also create models or designs to help other people learn about dinosaurs too.

Research fellows usually have to go to school for a long time and learn a lot about specific subjects like science, math, or history. They also often work with other people, like professors or scientists, to do their research.

So even though it might be hard work, being a research fellow can be pretty cool because you get to learn amazing new things and help other people understand them too!
