ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Restorative justice

Restorative justice is when people work together to find solutions to problems. It is about people finding ways to fix things that have been broken or hurt. This could be things like relationships, agreements, or other aspects of the community. It is like a way of healing and repairing things instead of punishing people. Instead of sending someone to jail or giving out a fine, people talk and think of creative ways to make things right.
