Revealed preferences

Revealed preferences means that we can use what someone does to figure out what they like. For example, if you say that you like ice cream, and then you buy an ice cream cone, it tells us that you really do like ice cream! Revealed preferences help us understand what people like in a way that doesn't require them to tell us directly.
