Ring girl

A ring girl is a person who works in combat sports, such as boxing or MMA, to hold up a sign that shows the round number for the fighters and walk around the edge of the fighting ring with it. They're usually women dressed in beautiful clothing, and they're there to help everyone know what round it is. They also add excitement to the event by walking around the ring and looking glamorous. Ring girls add a special touch to a combat sports event, sort of like a fancy dessert on a plate.
