Roan (colour)

Roan is a color for animals that have a mix of colors on their fur. It is like having two or more colors on them instead of just one. For example, if you look at a horse that is a roan, its fur might be mostly brown, but it also has some white hairs mixed in. Or, if you look at a dog that is a roan, its fur might be mostly black, but it also has some brown hairs mixed in. This makes the animal look unique and special because it has more than one color on its fur.
