Royalism

Royalism is when people believe kings, queens and their families are special because of their heritage or because of their role in their countries. Royalism is particularly strong in countries that have a monarchy, like the United Kingdom, where the Queen is the head of state. Royalists think that monarchy is important for the stability of the country, because it has been a tradition for many hundreds of years. They also like the pomp and ceremony associated with royal events like coronations and weddings.
