Rudder roll

Have you ever been on a boat and seen a really big flat thing sticking out the back? That's called a rudder. The rudder helps the boat to turn and move in a certain direction. But sometimes, when the boat is going really fast or the water is choppy, the boat can start to wobble back and forth. That's called rolling.

Now, imagine you're dancing and you spin around and around. You get really dizzy and you might start to wobble too. That's kind of like what happens on a boat when it's rolling.

But here's where the rudder comes in. When the boat starts to roll, the rudder can actually help to stabilize it. It does this by turning a little bit to the left or right. This helps to counteract the rolling and keep the boat steady.

So, the rudder is like a big stabilizer for the boat when it starts wobbling. It helps to keep the boat from tipping over and keeps everyone safe and steady.
