SD Association

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of a thing called an SD card? It's a little memory card that you can put into things like cameras or phones to save pictures and important stuff.

Well, the SD Association is a group of people who decided to create a bunch of rules and standards for how SD cards should work. They make sure that SD cards made by different companies all work the same way and have the same features, so that everyone can use them easily.

The SD Association also comes up with new ideas for things that SD cards can do, like being able to hold more memory or transfer data faster. They want to make sure that SD cards keep getting better and better, so that we can all keep using them to store our important things.
