ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sacral dimple

A sacral dimple is a tiny hole or indentation that can be found on the back of some people, right above where their bottom ends and their back begins. It's like a little dimple that looks kind of like a small pimple or bump but it doesn't stick out. It is usually harmless and is actually a type of birthmark that some people are born with. However, in some cases, the dimple may indicate an underlying medical condition, so it's always a good idea to check with a doctor if you have any concerns. Doctors will usually just check to make sure the hole is closed off, which means that there isn't an open or direct path to the inside of the body. In most cases, there's nothing to worry about, and the sacral dimple is just a cute little feature on someone's back!
