Scarecrow

A scarecrow is a stuffed human-like figure that is usually made of hay or straw and placed in a field to scare birds away from crops. Scarecrows have two arms, two legs, and a head with a hat or a bandana. They stand tall in the field and can be very scary to birds because they look like a person, and birds are afraid of people. The wind can blow the scarecrow's clothing, which makes it look like it's moving and scaring the birds away even more. Farmers use scarecrows to protect their crops and make sure they grow big and healthy without any damage from birds.
