Scholasticism

Scholasticism is a way of thinking and talking about big, difficult ideas using careful reasoning and careful arguments. It was used by people in the Middle Ages who wanted to understand the world and figure out the right way to do things. They used logic, reasoning, and evidence to argue about different kinds of topics, like religion and philosophy. Scholasticism is like asking a lot of questions and reasoning out the answers.
