ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Science Festival

A science festival is a big party where lots of really smart people come together to share their ideas and discoveries about science. It's like a playground where you can learn new things, experiment and have fun.

It's usually held in a big space where there are many different stations set up. These stations have all sorts of cool things like experiments, games, demonstrations and even hands-on activities. You might get to see robots, listen to live music made by science experiments, and even touch some slimy stuff.

During a science festival, you will meet all sorts of people who are experts in their field. Some might be chemists, others might be biologists or physicists. They will be happy to answer any questions you have and explain their research in a way that is easy to understand.

Science festivals are not just for kids, but for grown-ups too! They are a great way to discover new things, explore science and maybe even inspire you to become a scientist yourself one day.
