ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Seaport

A seaport is a place where boats and ships can dock and load or unload cargo. It's like a bus stop or train station, but for boats. When a ship arrives at the seaport, it will usually tie up to a dock, and then people can use cranes and other machines to lift containers off the ship and onto trucks or trains. Seaports are usually found near the coast or at the mouth of a river that connects to the sea, so ships can easily access them. They are important because they allow goods and supplies to be transported from one place to another by sea. So, if you see a busy area with ships coming in and out all the time, it's probably a seaport!
