Semantic matching

Semantic matching means trying to understand the meaning of words or phrases in order to find a match. This is like playing a matching game: you take two lists of words and try to pair each item in one list with an item in the other list that means the same thing, even if the words are spelled differently. For example, if the first list has "small" and the second list has "miniature" you would match them because they both mean the same thing.
