Semantic translation

Semantic translation is when a computer program tries to put words or sentences in a different language so that it has the same meaning as the original. Think of it like a robot translator that helps people who speak different languages understand each other. For example, if someone speaks Spanish and you don't understand Spanish, the robot translator can take the Spanish words and turn them into English words that have the same meaning so you can understand what the other person is saying.
