Sensorineural hearing impairment

Okay kiddo, so sometimes our ears don't work the way they are supposed to. When we hear a sound, it goes into our ear and gets picked up by tiny hairs inside our ear. These hairs send a message to our brain so we can understand what we are hearing.

But sometimes those little hairs don't work right, and things sound really quiet or muffled. This is called sensorineural hearing impairment.

It can happen for different reasons, like getting old, being born that way, or getting sick. Sometimes it can't be fixed, but there are ways to help make it better like using hearing aids or cochlear implants.

Remember to take care of your ears so you can keep hearing all the cool things around you!
