Settler colonialism in Australia

Settler colonialism in Australia means that people from other countries moved to Australia and took over the land. These people, or settlers, displaced or pushed out the original people who lived in Australia, called the Aboriginal people. The settlers wanted to use the land for their own purposes and establish their own culture, including their own language, laws, and religion. The Aboriginal people often resisted the settlers, but ultimately were unable to stop the settlers from taking over their land.
