ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sheep farming

Sheep farming is when people raise a lot of sheep in a special place called a farm. A farm is like a really big backyard where animals can live and eat. Sheeps are special fluffy animals that have curly hair called wool.

Sheep usually like to eat things called hay and grass because that's what makes them feel full and happy. They also need a lot of water to drink every day. When they are healthy, they can make really soft wool that can be used for clothes, blankets, and other things that people use in their everyday lives.

Sometimes people take care of sheep as a hobby, but other times they take care of them as a job. This is called agriculture or farming. The people who take care of the sheep are called farmers.

The farmers make sure the sheep are healthy and safe, which means they give them food, water, and a good place to sleep. They also give the sheep medicine if they need it. Sometimes the farmers need to cut the wool off the sheep so it doesn't get too hot in the summer and so the wool can be used to make soft things for people to use.

In the end, it's the farmer's job to take care of the sheep and make sure they are happy, healthy, and ready for people to use their wool in all kinds of different ways.
