ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Shunyata

Shunyata is a Buddhist concept that means "emptiness". It means that things don't have any real, lasting nature; instead, things are made up of other things and their nature is constantly changing. It also suggests that, since everything changes and eventually ends, nothing has any ultimate meaning or purpose. To put that another way, it means that nothing can give us lasting happiness and satisfaction, so we should focus on living in the present moment.
