Acosmism

Acosmism is a way of thinking about the world that says the universe does not have a soul or a spirit. Instead, it is just made up of physical matter and energy, and nothing else. It is different from other beliefs, like pantheism which says that the universe is kind of like a spirit or a god, or animism which says that all things have some kind of spirit or soul. Acosmism says that nothing has a spirit or soul--not people, not animals, not plants, not anything in between. All there is, is physical matter and energy, and that's it.
