Sin of omission

When you don't do something that you should have done, it's called a sin of omission. This is like if your mom tells you to clean your room, but you don't do it. That's a sin of omission. It's not the same as doing something bad on purpose, like breaking a rule or being mean to someone. Instead, you just didn't do the thing you were supposed to do. When we do this, we can hurt people or miss out on important things. So it's important to remember to do what we're supposed to do, even if it's hard or we don't really want to.
