Slavery in the 21st century

Slavery in the 21st century means that there are still people in the world today who are forced to work without getting paid and without any freedom. This can be in fields or factories, and can include children. Many people who are slaves are kept from their families, and have to obey the orders of their "masters". Some people are even sold just like they were animals. Thankfully, countries around the world are now making laws to stop slavery, and people are working hard to make sure all people are free.
